SAND is the PvPvE open-world extraction shooter published by tinyBuild. Developed in collaboration between the two teams of Hologryph and TowerHaus. It offers a first-person shooter set in a desert world.
Set in an alternate reality of 1910 where players search for riches in the world of Sophie. Claiming what they believe is theirs, with battles aboard the Tramplers, machines that will serve as mobile bases for players. With a title that will finally launch in Early Access in 2025.
SAND: Early Access Release Date Confirmed
With the conclusion of the latest February playtest, the TinyBuild team finally announces the release date for SAND. The game will be released in Early Access on April 3rd, 2025 on Steam.
Accompanied by an announcement trailer showing the desert world of Sophie. A PvPvE game where players must collect valuable loot while facing the dangers of desert ruins. All aboard their trusty Mech Tramplers, while keeping an eye out for rival players.

SAND in Early Access: Features and Upcoming News
What the two development teams propose is an extraction shooter game. But with an intriguing game world and original gameplay. With feedback from the playtests, the team promises new features in Early Access, including:
- New cities, ruins, and locations. Plus, new loot to obtain.
- Undead NPCs wandering the city and attacking players.
- New environmental hazards, such as minefields.
- A major revamp of the Trampler. With improved controls and new customization options, such as compartments and chassis.
As for the Early Access roadmap, it will likely be announced closer to the initial launch. With feedback from playtests taking priority for fixes and balancing as Early Access rolls out next month.
