Diablo 4: First Solo Hardcore Kill of World Boss Ashava During Beta

Blizzard Entertainment ran an open beta for the upcoming action RPG Diablo 4 last weekend, and during the beta, we had a chance to see the first World Boss Ashava.

DIABLO 4: PLAYERS SOLO KILL WORLD BOSS ASHAVA IN HARDCORE MODE

Last weekend, we saw the Diablo 4 open beta, which also gave us a look at Ashava, a powerful World Boss that is capable of one-shotting inexperienced Diablo players.

Ashava only spawned at specific times during the Diablo 4 open beta, allowing up to 12 players to challenge her in a group.

A couple of players decided to take on Ashava solo, and a couple even managed to defeat her in Hardcore, a mode where your character is lost permanently upon death.

One of those players is a Twitch streamer, Wudijo, who defeated Ashava on Hardcore mode twice with his Rogue.

Ashava can be a difficult boss, but a lot of the damage she deals is in AoE attacks, with effects that damage over time, meaning with good positioning and well-timed dodges, you can effectively avoid most of her attacks.

You can see how Wudijo killed Ashava solo in the video above, and pre-order Diablo 4 ahead of its release on June 6 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
