Civilization VII (Civ 7) is the new chapter of the famous 4x strategy series developed by Firaxis since 2004 as a 2K IP. A new chapter 8 years after the base release of Civ VI. First presented at Summer Game Fest 2024.
Receiving strong interest from fans who were eager for a new chapter. The game will debut on February 11, 2025, on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. But it’s already available with Early Access since February 6, 2025.
Civ World Summit: New event announced for Civilization VII
To celebrate the upcoming official launch of Civilization VII, Firaxis and 2K have decided to organize a special event, the Civ World Summit. During the event, we’ll see 5 content creators participate:

- The Game Mechanic
- The Spiffing Brit
- Ursa Ryan
- ZeratoR
They will compete live from the XPERION in Hamburg, Germany, in a multiplayer match on the new Civ 7. The match will take place on February 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM CET / 8:00 AM PT / 11:00 AM ET. There will be a chance to watch the event live for those who managed to get tickets, which sold out quickly!

Civ World Summit: How to Watch the event and Twitch Drop
