The team of Mega Cat Studios has decided to develop a sequel to a 1990 game World Championship Boxing Manager, with the second entry in the franchise. World Championship Boxing Manager 2 is basically a sim/manager game revolving around the boxeur discipline, where we'll take role of a manager of a boxeur club trying to rose to the glory, by managing a group of young boxeur from their newbie days up to become legends. In this title thus we'll have access to a pletora of managerial aspects, to improve both the facility, by hiring stuff to boost and train/treat particular aspects of a boxeur statistics (staff paid monthly), by expanding the facility with new equipment, by scheduling matches, tournaments and thus expanding the scope to a bigger prospect. Thus on top of the classic stuff, we'll also have to manage our money carefully, in order to not go bankrupt and disrupt the balance by losing boxeurs and staff. On top of that we'll be able to assist each match with a speed of up to 4x times, but also being able to provide help in forms of tactics for our athlete, by letting him focus on defense, thus gaining time, going offense to win a round. At the end of the match we'll be able to see the results given by the judges, and also celebrate a win to boost morale at cost of decrease in training efficiency and viceversa. So a rather unexpected sequel realized in a pixel art mimicking the original artstyle with a rather pleasant take. Albeit it lacks a few of the options that were present in the original, overall it's a decent experience for those who keep their expectation no too high.
