Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is a new campaign expansion pack for Total War: WARHAMMER III it introduces a brutal new race, the Chaos Dwarfs that can be played on both Realm of Chaos and the Immortal Empires Campaign. Make use of their engineering prowess by creating Earthshaker-launching Dreadquake Mortars, Volcanic Magma Cannons, and Daemon-infused iron war machines that pull their trains of destruction across the battlefield. On the demonic side make use of monstrous units like the K’daai Fireborn and K’daai Destroyer units to disrupt enemy lines and scatter fleeing enemies.

Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs is the newly released DLC for Total War: Warhammer III, featuring a new race to play in the Chaos Dwarfs, with 3 new Legendary Lords and a new Legendary Hero.
The new race features a lot of the classic dwarfs weaponry, from the gunpowder units to various warmachines, but doesn’t shy from magical units, strong melee units, shields and even fast units which is a rather odd choice as dwarfs are typically known for being sluggish units.
The Hell-Forge addition is quite interesting, as we’ll be able to spend Armaments resource in order to strengthen our units with upgrades, but also expand the population limit which caps the size of our army. Balancing resource is one of the key faction in playing this new race, as each resources (Treasury, Labors, Raw Materials and Armaments) are linked to each other and the further we delve into the game the more we need of each and efficiency will play a key role.
There are definitely a few interesting addition to the game with this new dlc, but it also falls short by a long shot regarding the quality and quantity, with 1 less Legendary Lords than usual, recycled mechanics, extremely unbalanced faction (Chaos Dwarfves can do basically everything), population cap that need to be unlocked for resources over time, and all of that with a major bump in price of 10€ more than the previous one, which is unanimously considered a pretty quality one. Honestly wait for it to falls to just 10€ or lower, as that it’s the real worth of this DLC.
Total War Warhammer III is back with a new DLC, Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs, which will delight fans of the franchise as it focuses on the popular and much loved chaos dwarves. There are 26 new units to be played, as well as 3 legendary lords to play as: Astragoth the Iron-Handed, Drazhoath the Ashy or Zhatan the Black. Hopefully you’ll want to try your hand at chaos magic. A lot of new content is planned for the game, a full-fledged gameplay as well, with the known characteristics of chaos dwarves.
Expansion a bit expensive but it’s already cheaper here on allkeyshop so it’s easily worth it I think. And essential for any Total War and Warhammer fan 😉
