This major DLC expansion for Stellaris aims to introduce new mechanics, origins, ships and traits, completely overhauling genetic ascension with different paths and authorities that enable deep customization to suit each player playstyle or needs. Paths can be mixed meaning you could shape a different galactic civilization each time, adding even more replayability to an already complex game.
Almost 9 years to the day after the release of the original Stellaris, Paradox continues to release DLCs of varying quality, but which ultimately, whether you own them or not, completely change the gaming experience. Here, genetics is at the heart of the game: biological vessels, redesigned genetic ascension, different origins, nature, ecosystems and, more generally, living beings in their augmented forms await you. Stellaris is getting the first DLC of its 9th season, Biogenesis, and it adds the option to play as a genetic master and bioengineer both the species and the ships you control, giving freedom to create bizarre creatures and dominate the universe and maybe even creating a bioweapon that may destroy planets. A new way to play this loved strategy game by Paradox, that they release many expansions for their games, but those games are always so flexible and replayable that any DLC is welcome
