A video game UFO conceived by one man, and unsurprisingly published by Devolver Digital, which often has a nose for good ideas. You skate through hell, in a fictional world that is quite dark but often majestic. With an emphasis on clear, often realistic tricks, the artistic design is perfect, as is the alternation of areas: sometimes scripted and corridor-like, but with lots of open areas. And behind it all, there's a cool backstory! Highly recommended.
Skate Story looks like it might actually pull off something different, skating through nine surreal layers of the underworld as a demon made of glass, chasing a deal with the Devil and even trying to “eat the Moon.” The blend of classic skate mechanics (ollies, grinds, kickflips) with weird world‑building and boss fights gives it a strange but compelling vibe.
Skate Story is as the title suggests a skating game in which you are a demon and must skate up to the moon to get freedom. Skating mechanics are awesome and destroying demons while doing all kinds of tricks is cool. Also the game has a very unique look, trying to represent a dark crystal made underworld, it is very curious and artistic but personally I find it quite annoying to the eyes, but that is my personal take, fans of skating will have fun with this one for sure
