Hi-Fi RUSH is an action-adventure rhythm game developed by Tango Gameworks the studio that brought you the Evil Within franchise and Ghostwire Tokyo, step into the shoes of a wannabe rockstar Chai as he is labeled as defective after a shady corporate experiment mistakenly fuses a music player to his heart, Chai must now fight for his freedom with his ragtag team against the evil megacorporation with rhythm-based combat.

It’s the type of game that reminds you why you fell in love with the genre in the first place. There are some meat and potatoes elements of the platforming sections that could use some refinement, but these are minor complaints in a superb package.
