Team17 offers a large-scale war simulation on huge maps with a World War II background. It's 50vs50 with strategic points to capture. Count on ground vehicles, offensive, defensive and useful equipment, and an authentic arsenal. It's very simulation-oriented, with no aiming aids, no tutorials (although there are a few pointers), and lots of things to figure out. Mandatory microphone (communication in squads of 6, nearby team, even command...) + mandatory teamwork! Great immersion.

Hell Let Loose is a realistic World War II shooter that really makes you feel like you’re in the thick of battle. The maps are huge, the battles are intense, and the teamwork required is unlike any other game I’ve played.
Hell Let Loose is one of not so many FPS set in WWII that has a big playerbase. You find yourself in a vaste map where 100 players in total engage in a dynamic and relentless battle. The gameplay is challenging, and you will need a bit of time to get used to it. But it's worth the hussle if you like the setting.
