About this game

Hashihime of the Old Book Town append is a boy love Japanese visual novel game originally developed by ADELTA; this append version is a Nintendo Switch port developed by HuneX. Set in the Taisho era Japan you play as a young student by the name of Tamamori, coming to Tokyo hoping he could get accepted to the imperial university, unfortunately, he did not pass the entrance exam. Resulting in him slipping into a spiral of erratic bouts of delusions and fantasies getting him kicked out of his boarding house after two months. But by a sheer stroke of luck Tamamori manages to find work at a used book store but his idyllic “student preparing for the entrance exam” life is about to change when a chain of mysterious horrifying events affects the people he cares of the most, and weirder still that he has been repeating the same three days over and over again.

• Whilst working in the bookstore he manages to make contact with his childhood friends who lives in the city, whilst he takes advantage of them often Tamamori, must find the courage to save them from a mysterious supernatural phenomenon that is targeting them.
• The story and CG are written and illustrated by Kurosawa Rinko of DELTA fame.
• A solid 30-40 hours of game time depending on how many of the multiple route endings you want to explore.
• The Nintendo Switch append version adds numerous new features such as newly written short stories in the novel mode, brand new features like voice collection so you can save your favorite dialog moments in the game, a music player, and switchable languages for English, Japanese, and Chinese (traditional and simplified).
