God of War Ragnarok is a masterpiece that exceeds expectations. With stunning visuals, immersive gameplay, and a gripping storyline, it’s a must-play for fans of the series. The addition of new weapons and enemies keeps things fresh, and controlling Atreus adds depth to the experience. The free Valhalla DLC is a fantastic bonus. Overall, it’s no wonder this game has received universal acclaim.
God of War Ragnarok is a Playstation-exclusive title released back on 9 November 2022 and serve as the sequel to the soft reboot that the series received with the 2018. A soft reboot that doesn’t ignore the past title, at least at level story, and also see us moving from the Greek mythos to the Nordic Mythology, as well as a substancial change in direction from hack & slash to a story driven action adventure. A title that sees Kratos and his son Atreus, now a young adolescent.
There is no doubt that God of War is a masterpiece, and same goes to the sequel. The game dives deep into Norse mythology and you will quickly immerse yourself in the splendid and vaste universe of God of War Ragnarock. If you have never played the 1st game, you should begin with it though, to better understand the story and the characters.
