Evil Dead The Game is a horror video game. The story starts out with Ash and Linda driving to the woods and discovering the Necronomicon Ex Mortis that was able to unleash a variety of horrors on the couple. Linda gets captured and it is up to Ash and the other characters to save her.

While it may have its flaws, the dedication put into this title is obvious from the get-go. Saber Interactive has crafted a highly entertaining asymmetrical multiplayer game in Evil Dead: The Game, and a lot of that is down to an understanding of how best to implement the quirks of the source material into game form. With possession, slapstick, gore, violence, chainsaws, and malevolent trees, Evil Dead: The Game is as Evil Dead as it could be.
