Empire of the Ants is a game inspired by the world of bestselling author Bernard Werber and his Ant Trilogy. You take on the role of an ant who wants to gather his fellow creatures to form a colony, farm, survive, fight… Through photorealistic landscapes thanks to Unreal Engine 5. But there’s more than just a story mode: the game also features tactical online battles, player versus player!
As a fan of Bernard Werber, I’m pretty curious about this remake, even though I didn’t play the original. It’s not yet clear if the story will be faithful to the famous novel, but I think it will be close to it. In Empire of the Ants our goal is to make the huge colony survive against all odds, while colaborating with other species. The first game based on the book wasn’t much successful, but hopefully the new title will be a lot more better in terms of graphics and gameplay.
