If you're into RPG, there is no any reason for you not to try Elden Ring. It's gorgeous, challenging and will easily take 100 hours to fully explore. I don't think it's better than Skyrim, however it's pretty close to it. If you like role playing games or Elden Ring's universe in general, this title is definitely worth picking up.
Elden Ring is From Software's opera prima, a souls game in an open world. Visually it is dark, grim and stunning with lots of locations, castles, caves, secrets and bosses that will kill you, lots of times, but once you overcome them the rewards will be worth, because it is souls game so it is really hard to beat, as much as it is enjoyable to explore and wonder the work that was needed to create this gaming wonder. Deserved GOTY of 2022, an absolute must have into any PS5 games collection.
Elden Ring is a title in the soulslike genre from none other than FromSoftware, the Japanese development team considered to be the father and creator of the genre. In collaboration with the legendary modern writer George R. R. Martin, creator of the literary series of The Iron Throne, Elden Ring offers an interesting new adventure in a new universe, using the beloved-hated formula introduced by Dark Souls, with a few new features.
Elden Ring was the winner of last year's GOTY award and with good reason. The game takes the best features from the Dark Souls saga and presents us with a well crafted and beautiful open world filled with distinct locations, enemies and plenty of memorable boss encounters. This third person RPG attracted many players despite having a punishing difficulty and offered them a plethora of possibilities in upgrading their character with many different weapons and spells. It's an amazing game that I recommend to anyone who doesn't mind a learning curve that requires dying many times.
