An action-survival FPS that takes place in a post-apocalyptic Cumbrian countryside. Atomfall features slow and methodical combat, with a heart-rate system that limits actions by muddying vision and reducing accuracy if we don't take a moment to catch our breaths. There's also crafting, skills and different factions scattered throughout the world, so exploring and talking with different NPCs can make all the difference.
A FPS with a retro-futuristic style inspired by British culture ( red phones and cultural references). The story moves along well, even though the game world is split into different zones and isn't completely open. You investigate, unlock other missions, and it's all very cleverly thought out. The combat is challenging, ammunition is rare, you have to be careful with your ammo and don't be afraid to sneak in and not kill everyone. Not perfect but a good game overall
Atomfall invites us to take a trip to the British countryside but after a nuclear disaster, and with that setting we will have to escape the confinement while exploring, scavenging, killing not only humans and discovering what is going on, and that is precisely why I’m very interested in this game, the story, what is hidden behind a peaceful town, now with also monsters, that will for sure will impact all the human race, if he don’t intervene. Awesome adventure that can’t wait to play
