About Aphelion

Aphelion is a sci-fi action-adventure parkour game developed by DON’T NOD. Step into the shoes of the astronaut Ariane as she attempts to rescue her wounded partner, Thomas, stranded on the frozen planet Persephone. Stranded and isolated, you must survive the truly unknown, find each other, and complete the mission.

 
  • Explore an uncharted planet, a vast frozen world shaped by deadly weather and an ever-changing terrain, as Ariane, using only a few essential tools, navigates the shifting expanse to push forward to save Thomas. As Thomas, you must rely on your surroundings, ingenuity, and observation to piece together whatever you need to survive.
  • Aside from the hostile environment, an unknown life form is stalking you. Make use of your environment to your advantage, and stay one step ahead of whatever hunts you.
  • Ariane Montclair and Thomas Cross share a deep connection, a relationship left unresolved by the demands of their careers and their mission. This fractured relationship will become a lifeline as they try to find one another again.

I love snow and the fact that Aphelion happens on a frozen planet immediately gets my attention. Game is a story of two astronauts that are searching for viable to live planets, crash and get separated, and not only that as there is an unfriendly alien with them. I must say that I’d love this game to be a pure survival with base building and such but nope , it is gonna be a linear story, with Don’t Nod master story telling, but still only for the beautiful landscapes I wanna play it badly
