Alien: Rogue Incursion is a faithful and fear-inducing game, with intelligent xenomorphs and some strong storytelling throughout.
A genuinely enjoyable Alien title. Mix dread with delight and a mouth full of razor sharp fangs, and you’re most of the way there. A solid entry in a franchise that fails as often as it succeeds. This mix retro future industrial design and Giger’s monster don’t reach the heights of Amanda Ripley’s adventure, but Rogue Incursion still feels like a must buy for fans of the Xenomorph.
All in all, I recommend Alien: Rogue Incursion, but… not if you’re a newbie to VR or are prone to motion sickness. Play a few other games first to get worked up to this one, and then you can enjoy it with the rest of us. You won’t regret picking the game up if you’re an Alien fan.
