Major Combat and Quality of Life Overhauls
Rebel Wolves actively listened to the player base regarding early combat friction. Patch 1.1 introduces sweeping changes to how the camera tracks targets and handles disengagements.
The developers lowered the health pools of wolves and boars, reducing the time required to defeat these common foes during the late-game exploration phases. Players can now interact with the environment in new ways, as the development team added the ability to pet cats and dogs scattered throughout the cities.
Rebel Wolves also expanded the accessibility settings by including comprehensive subtitle sizing options and full dialogue text support.

What does the Draught of Mind Rebirth do?
The Draught of Mind Rebirth is a newly introduced consumable item that entirely resets your character progression. Consuming this potion refunds all invested skill points across the Swordmastery, Witchcraft, and Vampirism trees.
Players can then immediately redistribute these points to construct completely different combat builds without restarting the campaign. Rebel Wolves integrated this specific item to address widespread player requests for build flexibility. Prior to Patch 1.1, locking into a specific skill path restricted gameplay variety during the final acts.
The update also refines transversal abilities. The Shadowstep and Planeshift mechanics feature improved targeting responsiveness, allowing Coen to snap to intended surfaces rather than falling short.

Performance Updates for PC and Consoles
The Blood of Dawnwalker faced documented performance struggles on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S during the initial launch window. Update 1.1 integrates a new iteration of FrameGen technology on PC, complete with dedicated settings menus to smooth out frame pacing.
Console players will experience smoother zooming animations on the world map and improved input responsiveness when managing inventory. Rebel Wolves eliminated numerous crashing triggers, specifically those tied to rapid ability usage during heavy combat sequences.
The official patch notes confirm over a thousand individual fixes across the entire client. The development team successfully patched out invisible walls, fixed broken quest progression markers, and corrected severe lighting artifacts that plagued the open world.
