Today on July 24, 2025, the official Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer was released. Thanks to all the leaks, everyone already knew, but now we finally see the first official footage. Battlefield 6 is the last chance to keep the Battlefield franchise alive, and EA aims to lead the series into a new era.

The focus is on epic battles with destructible environments and a fresh story approach. The game also brings the classic squad system back to the forefront. However, despite the spectacular visuals, one question remains: What will the gameplay look like?
What does the Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer show?
The Battlefield 6 Reveal Trailer unfortunately showed no gameplay, as it was purely a cinematic trailer. Still, we learned quite a bit about the setting and story. We now know about Pax Armata, a global private military corporation with its own mercenary army. Pax Armata is attacking cities like New York (shown in the trailer), but of course, the military intervenes, leading to huge battles in modern-day cities. So, no futuristic or world war setting.
We also see the return of classic 4-man squads storming buildings, hinting at a return to the classic squad system. But the most impressive part of the trailer is the destruction, as literally everything falls apart. Bridges are blown up, entire buildings collapse, and tanks smash through house walls onto the battlefield. If the game comes even close to what this trailer shows, fans will be thrilled.
What’s missing in the trailer – and when will we see gameplay?
Of course, gameplay is missing for now, and a purely cinematic trailer says little about the actual game. We don’t yet know what the in-game graphics will look like or how destruction will work in-game, aside from a few leaks that showed small glimpses. However, we won’t have to wait long for answers. On July 31, 2025, the Multiplayer Gameplay Reveal will take place, which you can watch live on YouTube. That’s when we’ll finally see how the game really plays and whether the reveal trailer’s vision becomes reality.
Community reactions and outlook
The community is divided. Many are excited, while others doubt the game will deliver on its promises. Some of the comments (translated) include:
- The most realistic part was the medics ignoring the downed guy
- Dice: How many crashing helicopters do you want? EA: Yes
Players are hoping the game will be more like Battlefield 3 and 4. To know for sure what the game will deliver, we need to wait one more week for the Multiplayer Reveal, when we’ll finally see whether this will be a hit or a flop.
