Anima: Gate of Memories I & II Remaster is the remastered version of the first two chapters of the Anima Project series. A Spanish indie development team that debuted back in 2016 with the first chapter. Based on the same IP from the team behind the Anima Beyond Fantasy tabletop game. Taking us into the fantasy world of Gaïa.

Bringing a criticized yet appreciated first chapter in 2016. Which was followed by the more acclaimed The Nameless Chronicles in 2018. Following the surprise announcement on 3 June 2025, the Anima Project team finally brings news on Anima: Gate of Memories I & II Remaster. The remaster of the first two chapters from the indie team from Valencia in the universe of Gaïa. Confirming the release date for:

  • 7 November 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

With the Nintendo Switch 2 version arriving in 2026. An announcement accompanied by the official trailer that compares the two Remasters with the original chapters. Showing a huge amount of revamp work. Particularly on the visual side. With new textures and more detailed models, a more vibrant and defined world, and new visual effects.

 

Anima I & II Remaster: Demo Available and What’s New

A double pack for the definitive Anima Action RPG experience. A release date that the team brings by surprise along with the Official Steam Demo. Which lets us get our hands on and discover the new features of the Remaster. Also confirming the ability to import your save file to continue the adventure at launch.
