Supra Games Studio has done it again. They bring us another new game in their unique style. In Supra games, you’re thrown into what seems like a small world, often just one room, but you’re even smaller—only the size of a toy figure. And that’s exactly the case once more in the latest game, Supraworld.

Supraworld has been in development for the past four years and transitions to Unreal Engine 5. The game focuses on clever puzzle design, a large interactive world, and is filled with many secrets. It doesn’t hold your hand and requires brains and independent thinking—something you rarely see in games these days. On top of that, it will keep surprising you in new ways. And now, the time has finally come: Supraworld is launching in Early Access.

Supraworld Release – Available from Today

Supraworld launches today, August 15, 2025, in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store. During Early Access, the game will continue to be improved and receive new content. A console release will likely follow after Early Access. It launches today at around 3 PM UTC with a price of €29.99.

The game will initially be available only in English, with other languages coming during Early Access. Community reactions are mixed—while fans are excited about a new entry in the franchise, some are slightly skeptical about the Early Access approach. We’ll have to wait and see how well it performs after launch.

Supraworld Gameplay & New Features

Supraworld is a first-person puzzle metroidvania with tiny characters in a handcrafted world full of secrets. Pretty much everything you see becomes relevant later on. Many areas are unlocked as you progress, gaining new power-ups and abilities.

The newest feature is the inclusion of detective cases you can solve. There are five murders to investigate. You can question people, eavesdrop on conversations, and find clues. In theory, you can arrest any suspect, and there are no hints or conclusions provided by the game. You can find secret areas everywhere, and you’ll be rewarded for cleverly bypassing obstacles or breaking free from the game’s intended paths.

In Early Access, only one of four acts is available, but even this single act has more puzzles than all previous Supra Games titles combined, so you can still expect plenty of gameplay. Over time, Acts 2, 3, and 4 will be added along with much more content. The developers plan to work tirelessly to deliver more content quickly. The final game will feature around 14 main abilities, but in Act 1, only about 4 are available.

The game now uses Unreal Engine 5, has a clean code base, and offers more story and environmental detail compared to earlier games. The developers emphasize greater freedom, with multiple ways to solve tasks. While Supraland and Six Inches Under (earlier franchise titles) were solo projects, Supraworld is being developed by a team, resulting in greater scope and better structure.

Supraworld builds on Supra Games’ signature creativity and elevates the concept with Unreal Engine 5, a bigger team, and a stronger narrative. The first act is already substantial, though the Early Access approach remains a talking point. Still, it offers plenty of clever puzzles with multiple solutions and countless secrets to discover.
