Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is getting the surprising addition of dinosaurs with the Jurassic World: Archipelago, an upcoming expansion pack that will allow pilots to explore Isla Nublar and the Muertes Archipelago.
Jurassic World is coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 in an exciting crossover that blends aviation realism with Hollywood adventure.
The expansion is being developed by Orbx, which announced on its website that it will be released in late August or early September. It will launch on Xbox and PC and will be available on the Xbox Game Pass.

What to Expect from the Jurassic World Crossover
Coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as part of the expansion is Isla Nublar, home of the original Jurassic Park and World theme parks, as well as the Cinco Muertes Archipelago, consisting of Isla Sorna, Isla Matanceros, Isla Muerta, Isla Tacaño, and Isla Pena. There are also two new Costa Rica locations coming in the form of Herradura Bay Marina and Juan Santamaría International Airport.
By setting off from Costa Rica, pilots can explore the entire Cinco Muertes Archipelago, which will have six airstrips, twelve helipads, and more than ten dinosaur species to spot while you’re exploring. Confirmed so far are the Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, Mosasaurus, Gallimimus, Apatosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Dimorphodon, and the Pteranodon.
