EVERSPACE 2 takes us on a breathtaking space adventure with many planets to explore. You will be able to mine, craft, loot and solve puzzles in this very well designed game. The environment is indeed marvelous. I think you can just fly around and contemplate the space. Do keep in mind that the game is still in early access and the end of the story has not been added yet. Furthermore, when EVERSPACE 2 is finally released, players will have to restart the game because the full version will not load previous saves. Overall, this is an amazing exploration game that is well worth the price.
An excellent single player space game, more RPG oriented than its predecessor rather rogue oriented. The gameplay is very good, with good handling and excellent, diversified fights, very good flight sensations with well thought out and optimized controls, especially with the sticks. A simulation side that we will appreciate. You can fly low on some planets too. A lot of content was added during the early access, but this time, the game is in its final release. The game is now well optimised and has good graphics. As for the lore: we are reminded of the events of the first opus and we find a rather interesting scenario. Maybe the best game of its kind, I recommend 100% clearly.
Everspace 2 is an evolved version of the first game. The 'shoot and loot' formula with small and medium-sized fighters is still valid and forms the game's core. In addition, a basic trading system has been developed that I greatly approve of. The story is fun and you can explore the universe independently, which you also need to level up to progress further. The game-loop is good in this respect. However, some side quests or jobs (later on) can seem a bit repetitive.
