Riot Games, the famous dev behind some of the world’s most famous titles such as League of Legends and Valorant, has in recent years decided to expand with the League of Legends franchise. This decision, made through the Riot Forge team, consists of creating many new games with different styles and gameplay in collaboration with various teams. Titles released under the umbrella of “A League of Legends Story”.
A new chapter in this series of video games, highly appreciated by LOL fans but also newcomers to the franchise, is Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story. Coming on 21 February 2024, to Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store).

Developed by Lazy Bear Games, behind the popular Graveyard Keeper, Bandle Tale offers an RPG experience that combines elements of crafting and farming sim with a classic exploration experience. The game will mainly focus on the Yordles of Bandle City, and as a Yordle who has completed the 101-year apprenticeship period, you are finally ready to explore the many portals of the city. But unfortunately, during the party, something seems to cause the collapse of the portals and throw the city into chaos. Your task will be to restore the portals and thus bring peace to the peaceful town of Bandle City. All accompanied by a graphic style classic of 32-bit games but with a wider range of colors and an almost pastel tint to it. Not to mention the many character and environment smooth and pleasant animations.
The title by Lazy Bear Games features Yarnville, the city of yarns, and the Yordles, bipedal and mammal-like spirits. The game will have a very simple objective, which is to restore the various portals surrounding the city. And in the shoes of a Yordle who has completed the apprenticeship, it will be up to us to fix the situation, thanks to our knitting abilities with magic, to reconnect all the portals and thus Bandle City.
The gameplay will be a classic adventure RPG with elements of crafting and life sim, in which we’ll visit 5 new islands, each looking different from the other to restore the portals. But there will also be interactions with other Yordles, where you can show off your farming and crafting skills to keep morale high and keep your friends happy. As well as meeting various Champions of League of Legends, of which some of the 16 Yordle Champions should appear. In short, a very nice experience suitable for everyone, in which we can relax and enjoy a cute adventure starring the Yordles.
Bandle Tale: A League of Legends Story has very light system requirements that make it suitable and playable on rather dated machines without too many hiccups.
