Assassin’s Creed Shadows – Price and Platforms Revealed Ahead of Launch

With Ubisoft’s announcement on 13 May 2024, of the official reveal of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, the new chapter set in the land of the rising sun in the series, many are wondering about the prices and contents of the new Assassin’s Creed. And it seems that some leakers and dataminers, thanks also to Ubisoft’s oversight, have some information about it, as well as the game platforms.

The user on Twitter @Ubisoft_Frax seems to bring us some leaks regarding the prices and contents of some DLCs of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Although we don’t know the base price of the new chapter of the saga, we can certainly expect the now guaranteed 60-70€ range, the Season Pass would cost around 40€ and would contain 2 Expansions sold at 25€ each, as well as the return of Helix Credits for cosmetic items, with cuts of 5€, 10€, 20€, 35€, and 50€.

Instead, some attentive users noticed the preview of the official page of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, which seems to have been accidentally opened to the public by Ubisoft, only to be immediately hidden again. But this left a trace on the search engine showing the game’s Meta Description, where the gaming platforms appear.

Indeed, from the search page, it appears that Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available on PC (most likely on the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store), on PS4 and PS5, but only on Xbox Series X/S, with a strange absence on Xbox One. Furthermore, the game will be available at launch with the Ubisoft+ subscription service. In addition to the fact that the game will come out with multiple editions, although it has not yet been confirmed which ones. We’ll have to wait for the official reveal scheduled for15th May 2024, at 9:00 AM PT (18:00 GMT+2).
