Dragon is Dead (DiD) is the new hack & slash platformer in the roguelike style from TeamSuneat. A development team from PM Studios, well-known for the sci-fi roguelike title Blade Assault from 2022. It takes us into a dark fantasy world corrupted by Guernian, the leader of the Dark Dragons.

Dragon is Dead – Version 1.0 Launch Date
TeamSuneat and the publisher PM Studios are finally bringing some great news about Dragon is Dead. Officially announcing the May 12, 2025 as the game’s official launch date. It will leave Early Access on Steam on June 6, 2025, with version 1.0.
The announcement is accompanied by a Trailer that shows the title in action. It will feature some new additions with the 1.0 version, including the Final Chapter, a New Heroine, Gear, and Challenges.
Dragon is Dead 1.0 – New Features and Additions at Official Launch
The launch of version 1.0 also coincides with the first anniversary of the game. Celebrating the Early Access release on June 7, 2024. With a team that has added numerous features throughout 2024 and 2025 according to the Roadmap. Offering with the official launch:
- Final Chapter: The concluding chapter of the adventure, with Guernian’s surviving members tangled up with the Circle of the Dawn’s plans. Confronting the dangerous Cult led by Ashat.
- New Heroine: The new Hunter of the Beast, with feral traits and unique combat skills and style.
- Gear: Tons of new Legendary Gear, along with the addition of the new higher-tier Mythic.
- Item Quenching: A new system allowing players to upgrade their equipment. Letting them experiment with new builds and combinations.
- Nightmare More x16: A final challenge where you’ll face 16 levels in Nightmare difficulty. With enemies using new patterns and systems for those who want to test their skills.
Content that follows the Roadmap released by the team in June 2024. But this doesn’t mark the end of the game’s development according to the original roadmap. Which should include an additional character as a DLC and new Legendary Gear. Also, the awaited confirmation for the arrival of DiD on consoles like Playstation, Xbox, and Nintendo.
