EA Sports has revealed new details on FIFA 21. Since the game will be launching on next-gen consoles, players have been asking whether it will support cross-play.

Will FIFA 21 Support Cross-Play?

FIFA 21 won’t feature online cross-play, EA Sports confirmed. This is true even across console generations (PS5 to PS4 and Xbox Series X to Xbox One).

You won't be able to play across console generations or cross-play in #FIFA21.

Players, however, will be able to carry over FUT progression across console generations should you decide to switch between current-gen consoles to its next-gen counterpart in the future (e.g. PS4 to PS5).

FIFA 21 launches 20 October for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
