miHoYo is the well-known Chinese development and publishing company founded in 2012 in Shanghai. Already known to many since 2016 for its great success with Honkai Impact 3rd, but especially since 2020 with Genshin Impact. The global phenomenon saw the company expand overseas with its global publishing division, Cognosphere, also known as Hoyoverse.
They’re also expanding the Honkai universe, which was introduced back in 2011 with FlyMe2theMoon. Followed by Houkai Gakuen in 2012, Impact 3rd in 2016, and Star Rail in 2023. Honkai: Nexus Anima Unveiled – The New Monster Collector Adventure
Following some early clues spotted by the community, miHoYo officially unveils Honkai: Nexus Anima. A new chapter in the Honkai universe that presents itself as an adventure in the company of many cute creatures known as Anima. Revealing the title for the first time today, August 29, 2025.
All this comes with an animated Teaser Trailer. It takes us to a small town inhabited by tons of creatures in the world of Honkai. Offering us a colorful adventure full of surprises and lots of Anima to discover and collect. Kicking off the Pre-registration for the F2P.
Honkai: Nexus Anima – What we know about the game and how to join the Beta
Along with the Teaser Trailer, the team also provides a showcase of the type of experience that awaits us in Nexus Anima. Featuring a colorful adventure filled with many new and iconic characters, and Anima to meet. Offering:
- A World to Explore: A vast open world to explore where you’ll be accompanied by various Anima. Uncover the mystery behind them and the protagonist’s past.
- Auto Battler Style Gameplay: With Auto Chess style gameplay featuring a strong strategic touch where we will deploy our Anima on the field.
- Lots of Minigames and Activities: But we will also have many activities and minigames available, not to mention quests. And new secrets and areas ready to be discovered.
- Customization: Notably, for the first time, we will have a real character customization system. With presets and potentially new options, as well as various outfits to give each player a different look.
Of course, there will be some familiar faces for fans of the Honkai universe, like the ever-present Kiana. Mihoyo also announces registration for the game’s first “Nexus Bond Test” with a form to be filled out by September 12, 2025. Available for now only on iOS Devices (minimum iPhone 12) and PC with minimum specs:
- CPU: Intel i7 8th Gen, i5 10th Gen or i3 12th Gen / Ryzen 7 2000 series, Ryzen 3 or 5 5000 series
- GPU and Ram: GTX 1060 or RX 560 XT 4GB (Polaris) and 8GB of Ram
