DIABLO 4: HOW DO SEASONS WORK?
Blizzard has released more information on Diablo 4’s seasons and season passes, announcing what’s included and what to expect.
Diablo 4 finally releases in June, and now we have a better idea of its seasons and season passes, so we know how much we will be grinding once the campaign is complete.
Diablo 4’s seasons will begin in July, one month after the game’s release, and Blizzard has revealed there will be four seasons every year, each lasting three months.
Seasonal content will unlock after the main campaign is completed, and once the campaign is complete on one character, players can choose to jump straight into the season content with any character from the start.
Seasonal challenges and content will unlock exclusive rewards, such as Legendary items and powers, which will no longer be available once the season ends.
As for season passes, Diablo 4 will feature a free season pass, premium season pass, and accelerated season pass.
The free season pass will feature 27 tiers, whereas the premium pass will contain 70 tiers, including weapon and armor cosmetics and a seasonal mount.
The accelerated season pass includes all the perks from the premium pass with 20 tiers immediately unlocked.
