Delta Force teases console release for Xbox and PS. An offline playtest is coming soon, giving selected players early hands-on access.

Delta Force has been available on mobile and PC since it launched in December last year. Since then, it’s built a solid player base and received great feedback for its team-based FPS gameplay. But one big group has been left waiting, the console players. And now, it looks like their chance to join in is finally getting closer.

Delta Force Game Teases The Xbox and Playstation Versions

There’s been a lot of news coming from Delta Force lately. Just yesterday, the game announced an upcoming collaboration with Arknights for the new season. A preview livestream is also set for June 27th at 8 AM PDT / 5 PM CEST.

But today’s update is something special for console players. While it’s not a release date or a gameplay reveal, there’s now an official tease that confirms the console versions are real and probably not too far off.

In two separate posts on X, the official Delta Force Game account shared what seems to be Xbox and Playstation controller buttons. No extra details were given but the message was clear.

The tease continued over on Discord, where even more info was shared. This time about a console playtest event.

Delta Force Game Console Playtest Announced

Delta Force has announced an offline hands-on playtest just for console players. The event runs from June 30th to July 3rd and takes place in Los Angeles, USA. Players who want to join can choose their preferred date on the signup form.

But it’s not open to everyone. Only selected players will be able to attend, and selection is based on how well they match the survey goals. The team behind the game wants a balanced and diverse group, so not all signups will make it through.

If you are selected, you won’t just get to try the console version early, you’ll also get paid. Participants in the playtest will receive $300. There will be individual interviews too about your experience, and those who are chosen and take part in the interview will get $200.

The selection process is pretty strict. You’ll have to answer some questions first, and if you don’t meet the criteria, you won’t be able to sign up. But if you’re in the U.S. and have been waiting for Delta Force on console, it’s definitely worth a try.
