Following the April launch of Croc: Legend of the Gobbos, the remaster of the classic 3D platformer, Argonaut Games finally confirms the cute crocodile is also coming to Steam. Let’s find out more about it!
Check out the Croc: Legend of the Gobbos announcement!
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is the remaster of the action-adventure platformer from the team at Argonaut Games. A game with a very interesting history, born as a project by the Argonaut team. At the time, they were behind numerous titles for the NES and SNES, including Star Fox, co-developed with Nintendo. Croc started as a prototype for a 3D Yoshi game, but it was later scrapped by Nintendo, which was already working on Mario 64 at the time.
This led the team to rework the game as Croc, releasing it in 1997 on PS1, Sega Saturn, and PC. It was a huge success and remains the team’s best-selling title with over 3 million copies sold on PS1 alone. Buy Croc: Legend of the Gobbos at the best price and relive the great classic platformer from Argonaut Games!
