The Secrets of the Pacific update went live November 24th. Players were eager to take part in the Double XP event in the Ship Haus Playlist, however, reports of the game crashing after launching the new playlist bombarded Sledgehammer.
The bug happens during matches, and kicks players out to the home screen. This issue is being ecperienced across all platforms and game modes.
Sledgehammer Games was quick to respond to players’ complaints, and has posted a tweet saying they are investigating the issue. A few minutes after their first tweet, they posted a reply saying they are pulling the update from the game while they work on fixing the bug.
There’s no word from Sledgehammer Games on when the update will be back. Stay tuned as we get more details on this story.
