Firaxis’ Civilization 6 Rise and Fall expansion is adding two new civilizations to the mix. These are the Koreans and the Dutch. According to PCGamesN, the Dutch civilization had been teased on a Dutch TV show called RTL Boulevard. The Korean civilization, however, has a quick video trailer for an announcement.

Civilization 6 Rise and Fall

The Dutch civilization is going to be ruled by Queen Wilhemena, she has ruled the country over both World Wars. Her ascension was in the 1980’s and her abdication in 1948. She is well known for what she did during World War II which was to organize and encourage the Dutch civilians and resistance fighters all the way from London. She was using the Radio Oranje in order to transmit to the Dutch people.

It has been said that Queen Wilhemena’s unique ability in the game may be that of the Radio Oranje. The unique upgrade of the civ is called Polder. It will also come with the iconic windmills of the Netherlands.

The Korean civilization is ruled by Queen Seondeok who reigned for 15 years. She will be ruling over Seowon which is an upgrade to the Campus and it will provide a fixed yield of science. This civilization’s unique ability is called the Three Kingdoms where bonus science is granted to mines and bonus foods to farms.

A unique unit for Korea is the Hwacha which is a mobile ballista that is mounted on a cart with two wheels. It has the ability to launch 100 rocket arrows or 200 Chongtong bullets. You can know more about the Korean civ in the video below:

The Civilization 6 Rise and Fall expansion will launch on February 8, 2018, for PC.
