Resident Evil Requiem is closing in on its launch date of February 27, 2026, and while it seems everything rumored has been revealed, Capcom announced that there’s more to come ahead of release. A Resident Evil Showcase is now confirmed to take place in early 2026.
The Resident Evil Showcase is Back in 2026
There is no question that Resident Evil Requiem is one of the most awaited games of 2026. In fact, some even look forward to this more than other high-profile releases next year including GTA 5.
As we all thought that the Leon Kennedy reveal was the last big update we’re going to get before launch, we’re wrong. Capcom has officially announced that a Resident Evil Showcase is coming in early 2026, something that was previously teased in the Road to Requiem video back in October. There’s no exact date yet, but with the game launching in late February, a January showcase feels like the most likely window.

No further details were shared but we could expect more gameplay footage, maybe some words from the devs, and hopefully (crossed fingers and toes) an announcement for a demo. That’s the only thing missing!
