Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombie Mode Revealed

Call of Duty: Vanguard Zombies has been revealed and expands on the Dark Aether Story of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

In a two-minute world premiere, Call of Duty revealed the new Zombies experience for Call of Duty: Vanguard, called Der Anfang.

Titled as “The Beginning,” the new CoD Zombies is a four-player co-op mode set in World War II and puts you and your allies in a battle to stop Wolfram Von List from destroying Europe with his army of undead.

After the Nazi experiment at Projekt Endstation goes wrong, allowing Dark Aether entities to invade the mortal realm, Von List uses his new power, gained from bonding with Kortifex, to raise a new army from the mass graves at Stalingrad.

Just as in previous titles, Vanguard’s Zombies mode will feature Perks, weapon upgrades, and of course, Pack-A-Punch.

There is also the new Sacrificial Heart, which, when used with the Altar of Covenants, will offer randomized upgrades to ensure unique builds every time you play.

You and your squad will face off against all-new enemies, including the Sturmkrieger and Boom Schreiers.

Activision has also revealed that Zombies will feature cross-play and cross-gen multiplayer and count towards your Vanguard Battle Pass progression.
