About this game

XCOM 2 is a tactical turn-based game that takes place 20 years after the events of Enemy Unknown where XCOM lost the war. Take command of the Avenger, a new mobile base for XCOM.

• Give orders to squad members to fight against the invaders, while managing the engineer and the basic research department to discover new and improved gadgets, weapons and technologies that will help you in battles . Soldiers can be recruited and each soldier class has its own skills and capabilities tree.
• Community Mods will also be supported in the game, campaigns, classes and enemies will be created for custom parts.
• Multiplayer and one-against-one will also be put in the spotlight.
• New enemies will be present, as the new faction of Advent and Viper. When you start a mission, your team will not be detected by all enemies.

XCOM 2 is an incredible strategy game, and for the last week it has consumed me. It had me eyeing off my lounge room as I ate dinner, noting the cover values of the furniture and how the coffee table didn’t fit into the perfect grid of an XCOM level.

I’m not sure why they waited so long to bring XCOM 2 to console, or at least announce it at the PC launch, because even with its hiccups it’s an amazing gaming experience for any strategy game fan.

XCOM 2 WAR OF THE CHOSEN

This DLC provides expansive new content in the fight against ADVENT when overwhelming resistance factions emerge in order to eliminate the alien threat on Earth. As a response, a new enemy, known as the “Chosen,” joins the battle field with one goal in mind: capture the Commander, again. This also comes with new Hero classes to counter the “Chosen” along with new enemy mobs, quests, areas and an increased tactical gameplay.

XCOM RESISTANCE WARRIOR PACK

This DLC lets you customize your squad of resistance warriors with additional outfits, headgear, and custom facial war paint. Plus, unlock a survivor of the old as a recruit in your barracks.

XCOM 2 ANARCHY’S CHILDREN

This DLC introduces the rebellion-themed content pack that comes with over 100 extra exotic customizations for the entire collection of armors available for your XCOM soldiers. These are just for customization options and does not modify the stats of your soldiers.

XCOM 2 REINFORCEMENT PACK

This DLC includes the Anarchy’s Children theme pack, Alien Hunters theme pack, and Shen’s Last Gift.

• Anarchy’s Children: Introduces the rebellion-themed content pack that comes with over 100 extra exotic customizations for the entire collection of armors available for your XCOM soldiers. These are just for customization options and do not modify the stats of your soldiers.
• Alien Hunters: Comes with new soldier customization and a gameplay theme for the base game.
