WWE 2K26 took an already great game and made it better in every way, with no definitive weak spots relative to the genre. They’ve added a lot with very little feeling like filler and brought back things that fans missed. It’s one of the best annual release games that I’ve had the pleasure of playing.
I enjoyed WWE 2K24 and WWE 2K25, especially the Bloodline-driven Showcase mode in last year’s entry. But WWE 2K26 stands tall over them. Even though some elements are recycled from last year’s (and the year before that, and the year before that), 2K26’s fun Showcase mode, compelling MyRise story, and strong presentation and gameplay systems make this my new favorite installment.

WWE 2K26 features a massive roster of 400+ superstars and a new "Showcase" mode. It brings back fan-favorite match types like Inferno and Dumpster, plus a new open-world mode called "The Island." While the core wrestling feels as smooth as ever, the new "Ringside Pass" system is a bit of a greedy grind that locks too much content behind a paywall.
I've wanted to play a new wwe game since 2016, but haven't cuz I hear so much about the need to buy dlc to get the whole game, playing on line is horrible because of cheaters and the games are buggy and 2k doesn't care to fix them. Sad :( discord: mccainiac
Simulating WWE gameplay has always been a difficult balance but I do like some of the story modes planned for 2K26, especially the full CM Punk career path.
The WWE 2025 Game was ok, not the best, but you could have fun with it, so i hope that the 2026 Version will be also good (better than the 2025 Version) :)
