About this game

The Blackout Club is a first-person co-op horror game where you play as a group of teenagers trying to investigate a string of disappearances happening in your town during routine blackouts. the adults also act differently when the blackout happens, they all become subservient to the “shape” the entity that connects the disappearances to the strange things that are happening throughout your town. The blackout clubs’ mission is to find evidence of the shape and the disappearances and prove to the rest of the world that what’s happening in your town is real.

• Each mission consists of 1-4 players co-op completing procedurally generated objectives all around the map, it’s not just the objectives are procedurally generated enemy patrols, environmental obstacles, loot placement, and other aspects of each night’s missions are never the same.
• Your town is a small neighborhood full of houses, forests, and the occasional mysterious underground tunnels built by the shapes minions.
• The main enemy during missions are the various adults wandering around the neighborhood they are subservient to the shape they become blind and can also detect you if you are near them making sounds if you’re not careful you may also encounter the shape itself it is invisible the only way to see it is if you close your eyes.
• The characters you play are fully customizable from their clothes, gestures, and hairstyles. Players can also give their character new expansion slots and ability upgrades after they level up you get XP by completing missions.

Reviews

There’s a lot going on in The Blackout Club, and while I haven’t seen what the endgame is yet, I am looking forward to playing more of this with my friends. I’m not sold on sacrificing my character to a Voice and starting over just to see my name on the Leaderboards, though.

With a few small hiccups along the road that can probably be easily ironed out, and as long as you have patience in abundance, The Blackout Club is a good time. With never-ending levels and missions to complete and the interesting Stalker mode, the replay potential is sky-high.
