Spider-Man is a single-player action–adventure video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. This game holds a totally different story from the Spider-Man comic or film.
Peter Parker as Spider-Man is 23 years old and is about to graduate from college and is an intern at a specific laboratory. At this point, he has been the protector of New York City for all these years. Earlier in the story, Spider-Man lands the villain Kingpin in jail. But a new enemy arises called the Inner Demons who are out to take over Kingpin’s construction site. While fighting off the Inner Demons, Spider-Man finds out that their boss is a prominent person named Martin Li who’s villain name is Mister Negative. Mr. Li is the owner of F.E.A.S.T. shelters where Peter’s Aunt May works, making it a conflict for him.
The game is set in a modern-day open-world version of New York City. You will play Spider-Man in a third person perspective with his wall crawling and web slinging. New gameplay elements have been added as well. Stealth and environmental combat are key elements in the game.
