D&D fans are in for a treat with the sequel to Solasta! This tactical RPG sticks strictly to the rules: dice rolls, actions and reactions. But it takes things a step further with a strong focus on storytelling, graphics and more immersive environmental interactions... You’re also sure to enjoy the combat tactics. It’s Solasta, but better in every way.
Solasta II is out in Early Access and promises to keep faithful to the foundation laid in the first game, while improving in exploration, story and combat. So far only part of Act 1 seems to be playable with more coming out in the future. Honestly I would wait but if you are a fan of the first game or just DnD in general it might be a good option since the foundation is good and more balancing and content will come eventually.
Solasta 2 is the sequel to the hit tactical RPG, built on the 5.1 SRD ruleset for a deep tabletop experience. It features a new campaign, expanded classes, and even more verticality in its turn-based combat. The first game had the best implementation of D&D mechanics in a video game, so this sequel is a must-watch. If they’ve improved the character models and writing to match the stellar combat, it could honestly rival the genre's greats.
RPG D&D turn based games are at their best moment and here we have Solasta 2 that is gonna be the next big one. They have improved all the weak points of previous game, like voice acting, characters models and cinematics, and added more of a great main story, locations, quests, equipment, skills and all those things we love and make RPGs so great games to play and get lost in their lore. This is one of my most awaited games for 2026 and one of the best RPGs until Larian enters the room.
