PlayStation Network (PSN) is Sony Interactive Entertainment official download and digital services platform for PS4, PS3, PSP and PS VITA consoles. Created in November 2006, the PSN provides access to online multiplayer mode, the PlayStation Store and other digital entertainment services such as VOD (video on demand), instant messaging. Accessible from your console, you must set up a PlayStation Network ID (PSN ID) to create your account. There are 2 account types, the main account to which your PSN wallet is associated, the secondary accounts you can add. These can be very useful if you have children to manage the monthly expenses and restrict the “chat” by installing a parental control.
You can Credit the PSN wallet by purchasing a PlayStation Network prepaid card (PSN Card) or by credit card. Once the PSN CARD CODE is purchased, log in to your user account, click on the top of the control panel to see the “Function” menu, choose “Settings” and then “PlayStation Network” / “Account Information” / “Wallet” / “Add Funds“, confirm with the “X” / “Redeem Code “, then Enter the Prepaid Card Code 100 Euros (12 digit code) and “Continue“. The PSN Funds are now added to your Playstation Network Account and you can purchase all digital content from the Playstation Store.
Note that the Playstation wallet can not contain more than 150 €.
