Lego Dimensions is a action– adventure video game developed by Traveler’s Tales and published by Warner Pros. Interactive Entertainment.

When the evil Vorton embarks on a plan to bring all the different Lego universes together and control them all with the power of Foundational Elements it is up to you to prevent him from getting his hands on the elements by traveling the Lego multiverse to prevent him from getting his hands on such powerful objects. Early on you realize that you alone do not have the capabilities to foil Vortons plot and must enlist the add of various heroes for assistance.

While the premise for this game may seem simple and straight forward the wonderful thing about it is the inclusion of characters and locations drawn from 14 different franchises and the exciting inclusion of some very talented voice actors. Who would have imagined we would get the opportunity to play a game that takes us between Batman, Doctor Who, The Simpsons and all the way to Ghostbusters!

Truly an enjoyable experience for your whole family or a group of friends the unlikely yet delightful combination of so many and differing characters leads to surprises and laughs the whole game. For me I’m thrilled at the opportunity to put Batman and Gandalf on the same screen.
