Based upon the, now, Horizon franchise Horizon Call of the Mountain is a single player experience geared toward the PSVR 2, set in the Horizon universe. We'll play as Ryas, an ex Carja soldier looking for his redeption. Along the way we'll meet the cast of the Horizon series, and obviously the heroine Aloy, in an action packed and stunning visuals, while exploring the game world. A perfect experience tailored to the PS VR 2 at a steady experience on 4k with HDR!
Horizon Call of the Mountain is an action/adventure VR only title and was launched alongside the PSVR2. You play as a different character, Ryas, and embark on a journey to find the reason of the machines attack. It's a short experience in length that doesn't overstay it's welcome and takes full advantage of what the PSVR2 has to offer.
Having experienced Horizon Call of the Mountain, I can confidently say that it is a breathtaking addition to the Horizon series. Guerrilla Games and Firesprite have crafted an immersive action-adventure game that takes full advantage of the PlayStation VR2 virtual reality headset. Playing from a first-person perspective adds a new layer of immersion to the game. As Ryas, the skilled protagonist, the combination of climbing and archery feels natural and intuitive. Engaging in battles with robotic creatures using the hunter bow is a thrilling experience, showcasing the precision and agility required to survive in this dangerous world.
