Sadako Rising Chapter is a DLC for Dead by Daylight developed by Behaviour Digital Inc. giving players a new killer Sadako, and a survivor Yoichi Asakawa both inspired by Kōji Suzuki’s novel Ringu and the original film adaptation.

• The Onryō – Left to perish in a watery grave her violent wrath manifested into a cursed videotape condemning viewers to a chilling fate. Sadako begins each trial undetectable and invisible when near survivors, Sadako can also project to TVs all over the map, building up condemnation until they are instantly killed when downed. Survivors can slow this down by retrieving tapes from the TV and inserting them somewhere else.
• Scourge Hook: Floods of Rage – Begin each trial with 4 Scourge hooks, if a survivor is hooked in one of those hooks the aura of all survivors is temporarily revealed.
• Call of Brine – Activating upon kicking a generator its aura is highlighted making It regress faster and any time a survivor completes a good skill check on that gen you hear a loud noise notification.
• Merciless Storm – When a generator is nearly completed survivors repairing that gen receive continuous skill checks until the repair is complete, if they miss once the generator is temporarily blocked.
• Yoichi Asakawa – No stranger to Sadako’s fury his life was forever altered by the Onryo. Now a marine biologist his story continues as his search for answers leads him deeper into treacherous waters, in a realm beyond rational understanding.
• Parental Guidance – After you stun the killer your scratch marks, pools of blood, and grunts of pain, are hidden for a brief duration.
• Empathic Connection – When another survivor is injured your aura is revealed to them, also allowing you to heal your teammates faster.
• Boon: Dark Theory – Bless a Dull or Hex totem to create a boon totem, all survivors within the boon gain a movement speed bonus. The speed bonus continues for a brief duration after leaving the boon’s aura.
