Cities Skylines is a ridiculously clever and enjoyable game, and one that I expect I will spend a lot of time playing down the track. EA looks like it will not be revitalising Sim City as a franchise anytime soon, so I’m so glad that another developer has stepped up to the plate and created the game that the last Sim City should have been… and I am so glad it’s finally on PlayStation 4.

  • Snowfall brings a special weather system to the game which includes snowfall or glistening rain. Of course heaters and expanded public transportation is included.
  • Natural Disasters will come with a variety of natural disasters like Earthquakes, Thunderstorms, Tsunamis, Forest Fires, Tornadoes, Sinkholes, and Meteors. Players must up their disaster responses by using early warning systems, counter measures, and new disaster responses.
  • Mass Transit brings several new transit systems to the game including ferries, monorails, cable cars and blimps. Along with this comes more passengers, new scenarios, new landmarks and new road types.

New service buildings are also included which are the Intelligence Agency, Medical Laboratory, Cryopreservatory, Faculty, and Wave Power Plant.
  • Art Deco: Art Deco comes with unique buildings which are the Eddie Kovanago, Pinoa Street, and The Majesty. This also comes with new commercial buildings which are the Central Hotel, Chirpcinema, Icecream Parlour, Laundromat, Radio Station, and Starlight Hotel. Included residential buildings are the Art Deco Apartments 1, Art Deco Apartments 2, Art Deco House 1, Art Deco House 2, Art Deco House 3, and Art Deco House 4.
  • Relaxation Station: includes a music pack that features over an hour of original relaxing music composed by Tobias Gustavsson.
  • Rock City Radio: offers rock music to your commute. New songs are from DJ Lars Kurtfield.
  • Green Cities: offers new ways to be earth-friendly. Includes 350 new assets to the game with new visual options. Available are eco-friendly buildings, organic shops, electric vehicles, and new services.
  • European Suburbia: Suburbia brings the suburban fantasy of Europe to city builders. Get 80 new special residential buildings and props!
  • Parklife: adds five new maps that brings your city to life! This includes new amusement parks, nature reserves, zoos and city parks.
  • Country Road Radio: adds 16 original country songs in four sub-genres which are Appalachian Folk, Bluegrass, Nashville Modern Country and Unplugged Country.
  • All That Jazz: comes with 16 new songs across several Jazz genres which are Classic, Latin, Chill-Out and Funky.
  • Industries: includes five new maps, new city services, new buildings, and new policies. The new buildings include resource extractors, manufacturers, warehouses and unique factories.
  • Synthetic Dawn Radio: adds 16 new music that are from four unique genres which are 80s electro, Vocoding Electro, Breakbeats, and Futuristic Synths.
