The PC version of Cities Skylines had a fair share of performance problems so let’s hope those are solved for the consoles. While the game offers many different things to do, like economy, infrastructure and life management, those are not as connected as one would hope. If you are able to overlook some core problems like the one mentioned before I’d say you’re in for a relaxing city building experience.
I’ve had the pleasure of playing this on PC before the console release. While the release was not as smooth as hoped, the gameplay is awesome and the performance is getting better by the week. When the console release comes around, the performance should be good. I’d recommend this game to anyone with a creative mind, and it’ll be available for a sharp price at Allkeyshop too!
The game’s release on the PC wasn’t particularly successful, but it did offer some notable improvements. Large-scale service buildings, much-improved micro-management, buildings with more inhabitants, and so on. But traffic can still be optimised, as can certain services such as ambulances, hearses, etc. With its improved graphics and potential, the game will undoubtedly become the new benchmark in terms of city management once it has been updated.
Cities Skylines 2 is the next entry in the famous city builder and magement game. Build your dream city from the first house to a huge metropoli and take control of each and every detail, this second game has lots of new features and improvements from previous one that will keep players busy for hours. Performance is not the best but game looks beautiful and it is not a fast shooter so it can be dealed with. A great game that will please fans of city builers.
While the release on PC was rather disappointing, we can hope that developers will take their time to improve Cities Skylines 2 before its launch on Xbox. And I speak not only about the performance but also the lack of assets and the missing simulation mechanics. The game surely requires more features, so let’s see what the new year will bring us.
