About Chernobylite

Chernobylite is an FPS RPG mixed with survival horror elements developed by The farm 51, the game takes place in an open world a fictionalized version of the town and events of Chernobyl. Partially inspired by the book roadside picnic, the movie Stalker by Andrei Tarkovsky, and subsequently the STALKER video game franchise. In the game, you play as a physicist a former employee of the Chernobyl powerplant trying to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his wife Tatyana in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, survive and strip away the Exclusion Zone’s secrets layer by layer.

• When it comes to survival numbers are an often safe bet, build your own team of survivors from the characters you meet in the Exclusion Zone provide each other with food, medicine, weapons, and intel, fail in these basic needs and you might have a ticking time bomb in your hands.

• Play the game your own way, there are several ways to approach a goal, you can just try to kill Everybody that stands your way or find an optimal solution and stealthily sneak in. But whatever you end up doing, you always need to be prepared for the unexpected.

Chernobylite is an amazing, well put together survival game that has some mind blowing plot twists, some truly difficult decisions and a stunning backdrop to experience. Add in the constant sense of unease as you take every step in the exclusion zone and The Farm 51 have made one of my games of the year!

Aside from a few technical issues, Chernobylite does everything right and wraps it all in a tense, and oftentimes uncomfortable, package that has you wanting to see what’s lurking around the next corner. If there has ever been a game that makes you want to pack your bags and take a trip to a dangerous part of the world, this is it.
