Battlefield 6 Is Now Free to Play for a Limited Time

EA and Battlefield Labs are inviting players to try Battlefield 6 as 2025’s best-selling FPS is free to play for a limited time, offering players access to Multiplayer until December 2.

Battlefield 6 Is Now Free to Play for a Limited Time

The Battlefield 6 free access period runs from November 25 to December 2 across PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, allowing everyone the opportunity to dive into All-Out Warfare.

Any progress, unlocks, and cosmetics earned during this free trial will transfer over to the full game if players decide to purchase the first-person shooter later.

What’s Included in the Battlefield 6 Free Trial?

Battlefield 6 is a glorious return to boots-on-the-ground action for the franchise, and the free trial grants access to core game modes, including Conquest, Breakthrough, and Escalation, which allow players to wreak havoc upon their enemies across massive maps, blending objective and squad-based intense action.

Available to play for free during the week is the latest content update, including the newest map, Easwood, as well as Blackwell Fields and Siege of Cairo. Players can also earn a free Weapon Package by logging into Redsec during the trial.

Tips for Surviving All-Out Warfare for Newer Players

Newer players should experiment with classes, learning their roles and class gadgets as they level up. This will serve players well, particularly when entering Conquest and Escalation, which are all about capturing and defending objectives, making it imperative that players stick with their squad and communicate with voice and text chat, as well as the ping system.

While BF6 features addictive, large-scale infantry combat, the massive map layouts invite players to utilize vehicles, including Main Battle Tanks (MBTs), Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs), and Attack Helicopters. Learning when to jump into a vehicle and support your infantry can be the difference between victory and defeat.

The Time Limit and Progression Carryover

To start playing the Battlefield 6 free trial, players can access it through a Multiplayer playlist on Battlefield Redsec, which you can download for free from Steam, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store.

Should you decide to purchase the full game after the trial ends on December 2, all your earned XP, unlocks, items, and Battle Pass progression will automatically carry over.

Don’t Miss Out: Play Battlefield 6 for Free Until December 2

Battlefield 6 is now free to play for a limited time, giving everyone the chance to play the FPS without commitment until December 2. EA has recently claimed the game is the best-selling first-person shooter in 2025, making this the perfect opportunity to try before you buy.
