Astro Bot is gearing up for a July Update
During the June 4, 2025 State of Play, we saw Nicolas Doucet, Director of Team Asobi, introduce new content that’s been added to Astro Bot since its launch. He confirmed a new update bringing free content to the platformer.
The update is coming on July 10th at 6:00 AM PDT / 9:00 AM ET / 3:00 PM CEST, featuring five new levels as part of the Vicious Void Galaxy, and introducing special new bots like Atsu from Ghost of Yotei.

Latest News from the Astro Bot World
Along with the great news of new levels, Nicolas Doucet also announced exciting new Astro Bot merchandise, confirming the launch of the Astro Bot Limited Edition DualSense. A revamped version of the popular controller with a joyful twist on the touchpad, expected to arrive at the end of 2025.
In April, the first edition of the GEM Awards took place in Seville, Spain, from April 25th to 26th, 2025, where the Astro Bot robot took home three awards: Best Game for All Audiences, Best Platform Game, and Best Exclusive Game. Astro Bot also received 5 nominations at the Develop:Star Awards in Brighton, UK, scheduled to take place from July 8th to 10th, 2025.
