Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris – Black Box Missions Return with New Content

Ubisoft revealed more details about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla The Siege of Paris expansion during the Ubisoft Connect event at the recently concluded E3 2021.

What is The Siege of Paris?

The Siege of Paris is the second major expansion for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. It brings protagonist Eivor to France, and is set years after the events in the main game.

Black Box Missions Plus New Content

Black Box Missions, which were first introduced in Assassin’s Creed Unity, will return. For those unfamiliar with it, these missions assign players an objective and then figure out the best way to clear it from different approaches available.

Aside from this, players will also get free content and limited-time events, along with new game modes such as the Master Challenge, and items such as the Basim armor and the long-awaited One-Handed Sword.

Discovery Mode in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

The standalone learning mode Discovery Mode will also be making its return through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Discovery Mode will allow players to delve deeper into the history and age of Vikings. It is free for players who own the base game, and is set to launch in Autumn 2021.

The Siege of Paris DLC Release Date

The Siege of Paris is scheduled for launch in Summer 2021. It comes packaged together in the Season Pass alongside the first major expansion, Wrath of the Druids.
